Water color resist clay houses and owls





Construction paper crayons and black water color...spray with varnish and ta da!!
We added plastic coated wire and colorful beads. I LOVE THESE! 

Starry night cities! Move over Van Gogh!


First graders are hard at work on their starry night cityscapes inspired by Vincent VanGogh. Finished products soon to come!

Winter Trees



It's that time of year in Ohio again! We've had a very mild winter, but the snow is finally here. The first grade students learned to draw trees with no leaves by using the letters Y and V and then we added snow with a white crayon and painted with water color to achieve a "stained glass" affect.  All were successful!
